I admit it: I'm a total geek. I love electronics, programming, 3D printing, 3D art, and vintage Apple hardware. I'm always juggling half a dozen projects. I also enjoy documenting it all: my successes, my failures, my experiences... and everything geeky along the way.

Millenium Dragon 2

Don’t get me wrong, the Millennium Dragon that DAZ gives you for free is pretty nice, but the Millennium Dragon 2 is totally badass!

It’s normally $50 bucks, $35 for Platinum Club members, but I got it on one of DAZ’s crazy sales for $13.99. Score!

Not only do you get the Millennium Dragon 2.0, but you also get the Eastern Dragon as well as the complete Millennium Dragon 1.0. As it turns out, the Millennium Dragon 1.0 that comes free with DAZ Studio isn’t complete.

The Millennium Dragon 2.0 is huge! Here he is next to Victoria so you get an idea of the size.

Here it is next to the Millennium Dragon 1.0 and the Eastern Dragon. The Eastern Dragon is pretty small. It also doesn’t look like they give you any extra poses with the set. You have to buy those separately, or get creative on your own.

The Millennium Dragon 2.0 comes with 19 add-on head pieces including, chin and ear fins, ear and head plates, head spikes, head whisps, side horns, jaw fins, and jaw horns.

There’s also 206 Head and Body Morphs, 121 Texture, Bump, Transparency, and Specular Maps, and a ton of poses. You can get pretty creative and make some pretty unique-looking dragons.

A pretty nice piece of kit for $14 bucks. I can’t wait to use it in a scene!
